Recombination coefficient of ion-implanted deuterium on tungsten

Description

Tungsten is a candidate material for plasma facing walls of fusion reactors. In this study, 2keV, 500eV 250eV, 100eV and 50eV deuterium ions were respectively implanted into tungsten plate samples. The depth profiles of deuterium under 370K∼670K were obtained by nuclear reaction analysis (NRA). Assuming that all deuterium atoms in bulk region were dissolved, recombination coefficients under the above irradiation energy were directly estimated from the average deuterium concentrations in the bulk.
