Correlation of stability and spectral luminescent characteristics of neodymium, samarium and europium β-diketonates with ligand properties

Description

Spectral-luminescent characteristics and stability of Nd, Sm and Eu compounds with symmetric and asymmetric β-diketones, not containing fluorine and fluorine-bearing ones characterized by various chain length and fluorinated radical structure are studied. Dissociation constants of investigated β-diketonates and sequential stability constants of Nd, Sm, Eu β-diketonates are determined. Correlations of Nd-O bond variations and luminescence intensities of Nd, Sm, Eu β-diketonates with ligand absorption and fluorinated radical chain length are ascertained
