Composition for vanadation of steel products
Description
A new composition for vanadation of steel products is developed. To increase saturating ability of the composition it contains additionally ferromanganese, and as an iron-containing filler-wastes of catalyst industry. The invention can be used in mechanical engineering and other industries. The composition suggested was tested using steel samples with different ratio of components in the saturating composition. The use of the composition suggested for diffusive vanadation of steel products ensures a 25-40% increase in saturating ability as compared with the known one. It also ensures the possibility to produce diffusive vanadated layer on details of complex configuration, large dimensions, promoting cost reduction of the process at the expense of mixture component preparation simplification
