Description

Complexing of Pr, Nd, Eu, Gd, Er, Tm, and Lu nitrates has been studied upon boiling the solutions for 1.5-2 hours. In 2-3 days separated are the complexes of the composition of M(AH)4(NO3)3xnH2O, where M is REE, AH is CH3CONHNH2, n=0 or 0.5. Molar electric conductivity of aqueous solutions of the complexes obtained corresponds approximately to electric conductivity of tetraionic electrolytes. It grows when passing from Pr complex to Lu complex. The melting point of the compounds also increases in this series. Acetylhydrazine molecules are bonded with M atoms through the nitrogen atoms of the aminogroup and oxygen of the carbonyl group. Coordination number of the M atom is less than 8
