Using muons to probe for new physics

Creators

  • 1. Physics Department, Brookhaven National Laboratory, Upton, New York11973 (United States)

Description

Searches for new physics using muons are reviewed. Particular attention is paid to muon number non-conserving processes, like the decay μ→eγ and muon endash electron conversion in muonic atoms. Also, experimental determinations and theoretical predictions for the muon anomalous magnetic moment are reviewed. copyright 1997 American Institute of Physics
