Current status of nuclear data at B.A.R.C

Nuclear data find wide applications in a variety of fields such as reactor design, reactor and accelerator shielding, nuclear safety, fusion, medical and biochemical research. The current status of nuclear data at BARC in the fields of evaluation and application in some of the above mentioned areas is discussed. Measurements and theoretical investigations of cross-sections to be undertaken are pointed out and in particular an attempt is made to bring out the present status of thorium cross-section data.
