Description
The neglect of an explicit coupling to antiparticles when solving the relativistic Brueckner-Bethe-Goldstone (RBBG) equation leads to ambiguities of the calculated self-energy. We show that it is possible to obtain a family of weakly momentum-dependent self-energies from the RBBG equation which are consistent despite several hundred MeV differences in their magnitudes.
