DNA effect on the survival of irradiated tumour and normal cells in vitro
Creators
Description
A considerable delay in the growth of tumour cells has been detected in nonirradiated and, particularly, irradiated (LD30 and LD70) HEsub(P)-2 cells after adding DNA of normal tissues. Isologous DNA (from cells HEsub(P)-2) stimulats the growth of nonirradiated cells. Normal AK and SOC cultures treated with DNA of normal tissues after irradiation (LD70) have shown different actions of DNA preparations administered, the efficiency of which is discussed in the light of its dependence on the homology degree of DNAs of the cells and preparation, interacting with each other
