The biological effects of SMMC-7721 irradiated by 25 MeV/u 40Ar14+

Description
The biological effects of SMMC-7721 irradiated by 25 MeV/u 40Ar14+ are studied. The following results are obtained: (1) Various chromosomal aberrations are induced and the micronucleus frequency is higher than that of corresponding control. (2) The greater the dose is, the heavier the cells are damaged. (3) The repair system of cells is activated during fractionation irradiation and the efficiency of repair is enhanced responding to the irradiation times
