Trends and developments in clearance and decommissing
Description
The clearance and decommissioning discussed in IRPA-10 is described in this paper. It covers exclusion, exemption, clearance and waste minimization; decommissioning technology development, including decontamination, dismantling and measurement technologies; an example for research reactor decommissioning and accelerator decommissioning. Finally, some highly concerned issues are mentioned here, such as graphite waste, concrete waste, tritium protection during HWR decommissioning, decommissioning stages and decommissioning waste amount, etc. (author)
