Quantitative X-ray analysis of pigments

Description

The 'matrix-flushing' and the 'adiabatic principle' methods have been applied for the quantitative analysis through X-ray diffraction patterns of pigments and extenders mixtures, frequently used in paint industry. The results obtained have shown the usefulness of these methods, but still ask for improving their accuracy. (Author)

Foram aplicados os metodos do 'padrao interno' e do 'principio adiabatico' a analise quantitativa por difracao de raios-X de misturas de pigmentos e cargas frequentemente utilizados pela industria de tintas. Os resultados obtidos mostram a utilidade da tecnica, sendo necessario, entretanto, o aumento da precisao dos resultados. (Autor)
