Tritium in precipitation of Vostok (Antarctica) - conclusions on the tritium latitude effect

Description

During the Antarctic summer of 1985 near the Soviet Antarctic station Vostok firn samples for tritium measurements were obtained down to a depth of 2.40 m. The results of the tritium measurements are presented and discussed. Based on this and other data conclusions regarding the tritium latitude effect are derived. (author)
