Description
This paper describes a new kind of all fiber polarization rotator based on the Faraday effect. The effects of bending-induced linear birefringence are explicitly taken into account for the design of the active coil and the optimization of the device. Dynamic rotations of 20 degrees are achieved with bandwidth higher than 60 khz
