Clinical evaluation of the gel type and fission type 99mTc generators
Description
99mTc generators of four different origins were compared under limited conditions and random sampling. The results revealed that the elution rates were all higher than 90%. The peak value was at second ml and the peak width was five ml for the generators from England, Belgium and Beijing. The peak was between 5th and 6th ml for the generator of Southwest and, as time goes on, the peak was delayed and the peak width increased. The radiochemical purities of the elution liquids from the four different generators were all satisfactory. Clear images and good contrasts were obtained and no side-effect was found. The advantages and disadvantages of the four generators were discussed
