Description

Some computational results by BIMIT-CS, a new program that has been used for researching the transport of light ions in matter, are introduced. The new code is based on the bipartition model of energetic ion transport. By using this code, some improtant transport quantities such as the range distribution, energy deposition, radiation damage distribution of incident ions in solids have been obtained. Comparison with the existing experimental results and the Monte-Carlo simulations shows that the new code is more useful
