Study of conditions of isovalent substitution of rare earth atoms in ferroelectrics Ln2Ti2O7 with layer perovskite-type structure

Description
A study was made on conditions of isovalent substitution of rare earth atoms in Ln2Ti2O7 ferroelectrics with laminar perovskite-like structure (LPS). A series of phases of Ln'Ln''Ti2O7 type was synthesized with LPS (Ln' = La, Pr, Nd; Ln''= La, Pr, Nd, Sm, Eu); some peculiarities of their structure were determined. Geometrical criteria of LPS realization for phases of Ln'Ln''Ti2O7 type were discussed
