The whole of atomic power

Energy is a base of living and industry, but the self-sufficiency in energy in Japan is only 4%. We, Japanese, have to think of harmony of energy production and global environment for the future. This book was published by nine editorial staffs in 2003. It consists of why we write this book, the ten chapters and the reference materials. The first chapter contains nuclear energy, the second chapter involves relation between radiation and human being, the third securing future energy and global environmental issues, the fourth good use of nuclear resources, the fifth nuclear power generation and nuclear industry, the sixth securing safety of nuclear power generation, the seventh check the spread of nuclear weapons, the eighth to get more work out of radiation for living, the ninth a trend of utilization of atomic energy in the world and the tenth the humankind get 'the sun on the earth'.
