Description

The influence of conditions of synthesis (presence of some oxides in a melt, supercooling temperature) on implantation of different ions into (Y, Sm, Ca)3(Fe, Ga)5O12 epitaxial films and on their magnetostatic parameters has been studied. The results of film annealing and also temperature dependences of the induced magnetic anisotropy show the existence of two components of the growth-induced anisotropy. The positive component Ksub(u1 is related to ordering of rare-earth ions in dodecahedral lattice points, the nature of another one, negative component of anisotropy Ksub(u2), is not quite clear. The activation energy of diffusion processes, which cause a decrease in the growth anisotropy in annealing, is higher for the positiVe component of anisotropy. Ksub(u1) has a stronger temperature dependence, than Ksub(u2). The coercive force grows with increasing the growth rate and grows essentially in the low temperature range. The value and temperature dependence of inclination of the light magnetization axis change after annealing that is defined by the presence of two anisotropy components
