Angiographic diagnosis of a pancreatic islet tumor in a patient with the WDHA syndrome

Description

A patient with an islet cell tumor of the pancreas that produced the watery diarrhea, hypokalemia, achlorhydria syndrome is presented. On celiac angiography an extremely vascular mass was seen in the body of pancreas with hypertrophied arteries and persistent, dense tumor staining. (orig.)

Abstract (German)

Es wird ueber eine Patientin mit Tumor der Langerhans-Inseln berichtet; Symptome waren waessrige Diarrhoee, Hypokaliaemie und Achlorhydrie. Eine Bauchhoehlenangiographie zeigte eine stark vaskulaere Masse im Pankreas mit hypertrophierten Arterien und dauerhafter, dichter Tumorfaerbung. (orig.)
