Grain-boundary internal friction of niobium alloys with 6A group elements

  • 1. AN Ukrainskoj SSR, Kiev. Inst. Metallofiziki

Description

Binary and more complex alloys on the base of niobium with chromium, molybdenum and tungsten are investigated by low-frequency internal friction method. The program of internal friction complex spectrum analysis on a computer was used for obtained data interpretation. It is shown, that in all cases, niobium grain boundary enrichment by doping element atoms is observed. During complex doping of niobium by 6A group metals their interaction with grain boundaries is of complicated character
