Heavy Quark Spectroscopy at LHCb
Description
Great progress has been made in recent years in the study of hadron spectroscopy, particularly in the investigation of particles formed from exotic combinations of quarks. The LHCb experiment is well suited to the study of such particles. In this report, studies by the LHCb Collaboration of the X(3872) and Z(4430) resonances, as well as the observation of two pentaquark states, are described.
