Description

Melt inclusions have been observed in apatite crystals from Permian cinerites in the Lodeve basin and their chemistry studied by electron microprobe. The data show the calc-alkaline nature of the volcanism which was previously difficult to recognize because of a very deep transformation of these cinerites due to a strong diagnesis in the basin. Their uraniferous potentiality is discussed based on their uranium content, their nature and their accessory minerals paragenesis. 16 refs., 2 figs., 1 tab., 4 photos
