Redistribution of interstitials in powder low alloy tungsten alloys structure under deformation
- 1. AN Ukrainskoj SSR, Kiev (Ukrainian SSR). Inst. Problem Materialovedeniya
Description
The paper is concerned with the problems concerning an increase in ductility of tungsten and its alloys produced by the method of powder metallurgy as well as concerning a decrease in susceptibility to brittle failure in terms of distribution of interstitial impurities along boundaries of structural elements using a method of Auger-electron spectroscopy. It is stated that rhenium introduced into tungsten through a homogeneous hardener weakens most effectively the effect of interstitial impurities
