MHD kink-driven instabilities in net-current-free stellarators
Description
The Pfirsch-Schlueter current, which is induced in a toroidal device to keep the plasma current diverence-free, is shown to drive a free-boundary instability in a model of a net-current-free ATF-1 stellarator if <β> = 2.6%
