Thoughts on effective field theory
Description
I will begin by giving a formal description of the process of matching in effective field theories. I argue that the picture suggests that it should be possible to compute nonperturbative corrections to matching reliably. I then go on to speculate about a scheme for extending chiral fermions to extra dimensions. (orig.)
