Synthesis and structure of dimeric peroxofluorohafnates K4Hf2F10O2x2H2O

Description
Initial representatives of the series of oligomeric peroxofluorohafnates K4Hf2F10O2x2H2O (1) and K4Hf2F10O2x2H2O2 - were synthesized. The compounds were investigated by chemical, thermogravimetric, IR, NMR spectroscopic methods. The structure of 1 was established for the first time on the basis of X-ray diffraction data. It contains dimeric complex [Hf2F10O2]4-, composed of penagonal-bipyramidal hafnium polyhedrons, joined by bidentate-bridge peroxogroup
