High-order end floating method. For solving point reactor neutron kinetics equations
Description
The end floating method with high-order polynomial approximation for solving the point reactor neutron kinetics equations is presented. The method has the advantage of overcoming the stiffness of equation with the flexibility in application. Furthermore, this method can be extent ed to be applied to the great reactivity condition where the stiffness of equation is not significant or disappeared. Due to the increase of the order of polynomial for approximation, the truncation error is decreased, and hence the calculating exactness is increased furthermore
