The solar system is the topic of part two with chapters on the earth, moon, planets, lesser bodies of the solar system and the sun. Part three concerns the structure and properties of stars and galaxies including determination of stellar properties, statistical methods and stellar evolution, content and organization of the universe as well as other phenomena.
