Method of extraction separation of strontium from acidic aqueous solutions
Creators
Description
Strontium is extracted into an organic solvent containing a mixture of a two-donor organophosphorus agent with two P=O groups or one P=O group and one C=O group, and hydrophobic anion from the following group: carborane-metal complex, dipicrylamine, tetraphenylborate, inorganic polyiodide and inorganic heteroacid. The subsequent re-extraction is effected by the aqueous solution of a mineral acid. Examples are given of the use of this type of extraction. (E.S.)
