Stage 2 recovery of irradiated metals
- 1. AN SSSR, Sverdlovsk. Inst. Fiziki Metallov
Description
To explain the stage 2 recovery mechanism of irradiated metals used is the model of random walk. It is shown that the first peak of annealing is connected with annihilation of interstitials holded in the process of irradiation with impurity atoms and released at stage 2 temperatures, with eigen vacancies, the second peak is connected with their free migration to dislocation drains. Calculated recovery portion at the first substage of the stage 2 is compared with experimental one
