Investigation of D(1285) and E(1420) meson production in exclusive interactions of negatively charged pions and kaons at the momentum 32,5 GeV/c
Description
Mixing angle in the axial meson nonet 6 delta 6 < 13 deg (delta=0 corresponds to the ideal mixing), so e(1420) consists of strange quarks mainly. a signal from the e(1420) meson has been observed in the reaction [k]p → k[k] πy. a large value for the ratio σ[k]p → e(1420)y]/σ[π]p → e(1420y] that is greater than 10, confirms the conclusion on the e meson quark contents
