Contribution to safeguarding against inadmissible deformation of warming-up components under superposed secondary and primary stresses
Description
At thick-walled tubes made of INCOLOY 800 which are exposed to tensile stress (primary stresses), unstationary temperature fields are produced by cyclical, inductive heating of the surface, which lead to secondary stresses. The strains caused by it are measured and compared with strains under homogeneous temperature conditions. In order to operate clearly within the creep range, the experiments are made at temperature levels of over 800 C. Mathematical analyses of the experiments are performed with finite-element programs using simple material laws. By means of systematic investigations, influence parameters are identified and evaluated. (orig.)

An dickwandigen Rohren aus INCOLOY 800, die einer Zugbeanspruchung (Primaerspannungen) ausgesetzt sind, werden durch zyklische, induktive Beheizung der Oberflaeche instationaere Temperaturfelder erzeugt, die zu Sekundaerspannungen fuehren. Die dadurch bewirkten Dehnungen werden gemessen und mit Dehnungen unter homogenen Temperaturbedingungen verglichen. Um deutlich im Kriechbereich zu operieren, wird bei Temperaturniveaus ueber 800 C experimentiert. Rechnerische Analysen zu den Versuchen werden mit Finite Elemente Programmen unter Benutzung einfacher Stoffgesetze durchgefuehrt. Durch systematische Untersuchungen werden die Einflussparameter identifiziert und bewertet. (orig.)Additional details
