Rectum obstruction in rats after local irradiation

Description

The dependence of radiation damage of the rectum of the rat on single and fractionated doses was studied. Results obtained were analyzed with the linear-quadratic model; an α/β-dose of 14 Gy could be derived. (orig.)

Abstract (German)

Es wurde untersucht, inwieweit Einzelbestrahlung oder fraktionierte Bestrahlung Strahlenschaeden am Rektum der Ratte hervorrufen. Die Ergebnisse wurden nach dem linearquadratischen Modell ausgewertet, wobei sich eine α/β-Dosis von 14 Gy ergab. (orig.)
