Formation of closed vesicles from a phosphate diester

Description
One of simplest model of bilogical membranes, using a diester of phosphonic acid (dihexadecilphosphate, DCP) is prepared and characterized. The integrality of DCP vesicles is shown when a solution of DCP is submited to supersonic sound waves with 14C-treonine in the medium and passes through a sephadex G-25 column

Prepara-se e caracteriza-se um dos modelos mais simples de membranas biologicas, utilizando-se um diester de acido fosforico (dihexadecil fosfato, DCP). A integridade das vesiculas de DCP e evidenciada quando uma suspensao de DCP, e submetida a ultra sone na presenca de 14C-treonina e aplicada a uma coluna de Sephadex G-25Additional details
