The determination of microelement concentration in medicinal plants by neutron activation analysis method

Description
The element contents of some medicinal plants from Uzbekistan mountain regions was studied by neutron activation analysis method. The samples were prepared by drying and the following ashing. The irradiation of samples was done by neutron fluence about 1017 n/cm2 and gamma-spectra of induced radioactivity was measured by gamma spectrometer on the basis of Ge(Li) detector. The detection limits of elements were in range (10-6 - 10-8)% depending on nuclear physical characteristics of radionuclides. (A.A.D.)
