On the structure and properties of binary aluminates in the system CaO-Al2O3-Gd2O3
Description
Two binary aluminates: CaGdAlO4 and CaGd Al3O7 in the system CaO-Al2O3-Gd2O3 were determined by the X-ray, IR-spectroscopic and crystal-optical method. It is ascertained that CaGdAlO4 and CaGdxAl3O7 are crystallized in tetragonal crystal system and isostructural to K2NiF4. Lattice parameters, main crystal optical constants are determined and IR spectra of their compounds are taken
