Study of the #betta# meson in the VEPP-2M storage ring

Description
The reaction e+e-→π+π-π0 has been studied at c.m. energies from 760 to 800 MeV in the VEPP-2M storage ring. The following parameters were found for the #betta# resonance: M/sub #betta#/ = 782.2 +- 0.4 MeV, GAMMA/sub #betta#/ = 9.8 +- 0.9 MeV, sigma/sub max/(#betta→π#+π-π0) = 1.39 +- 0.10 μb, and GAMMA(#betta→#e+e-) = 0.63 +- 0.05 keV
