Isotope effect of reaction of cumyl peroxy radical with benzaldehyde

Description
Cumyl cooxidation with benzaldehyde and its deuteroanalogs is studied using the method of small additions in the temperature range 338-358 K. By means of experimental data extrapolation to 298 K the values of isotopic effect Ksup(H)/Ksup(D) approximately 30 and the differences of activation energies observed Esup(D)-Esup(H)=6.7 kJ/mol are used
