Nuclear program and site selection

The author considers the problem related to the environment in a highly industrialized country like Belgium, in the scope of the conclusions of the ''sages report''. He analyses the impact on the ecosystem of the gaseous fission product release from nuclear facilities, the aspects of different type of cooling systems for the nuclear power plants as well as transport cost of energy, the size of the power plants, the energetic policy and the economic activities.
