Antiproton decay and the baryon number of the universe

  • 1. Harvard Univ., Cambridge, Mass. (USA). Dept. of Physics

Description

It appears that the present universe has net positive baryon number. If the lifetime of the antiproton is less than the age of the universe it is plausible that the initial universe had zero baryon number. The antiproton instability can be tested with a small antiproton storage ring. (Auth.)
