Pulse radiolysis study on the redox reactions of acridine orange in aqueous solutions
Description
One electron reduction and oxidation of acridine orange (AO) was studied using various specific reducing and oxidizing radicals. Semi reduced and semi oxidized acridine orange generated in these reactions were characterized by their pKas, absorption spectra, decay kinetics and one electron reduction potential.
