Contribution of d-wave charmed quark pair in e-e+ charm production
Description
Helicity formalism is employed to study the d-wave contribution of the charmed quark pair when the time-like photon couples to the charmed hadrons in e-e+ charm production. The importance of the d-wave spin configuration is stressed in calculating the production ratios for the charmed hadron pairs. Methods are suggested to make a clear cut experimental test for the picture of the s-wave dominance of the photon coupling with the charmed quark pair. (author)
