Dipole excitation in 109Ag nucleus

  • 1. Inst. of Nuclear Physics, Tashkent (Uzbekistan)

Description

Dipole strength distribution in the 109Ag odd-mass nucleus have been considered. Using γ-rays from Fe(n, γ)-reaction the 7632 keV level of 109Ag have been studied. Using nuclear resonant scattering method the next quantum characteristics: 109Ag, Er=7632 keV; <σ>=7±2 mbn; Γ0=0.004±0.0015 eV; Iπ=(3/2)+ were taken. We have established the γ-decay of 7632 keV level of 109Ag and determined dipole transition strengths: Any enhanced E1-transitions have been observed at energy of 6770 keV, that indicate to quadrupole and octupole coupling nuclear states in 109Ag
