Optimation of the Function y Accelerator Tube As Acceleration And Function Of Electron Beam On Electron Beam Machine 500 keV/20 mA

Description

An electron beam trajectory simulation has been used in the accelerator 500 keV/20 mA. Potential calculation is carried out in two dimention only, as function radial variable (r) and axial variable (z). Iteration is carried out by electrode distance of 34, 42,5, 51, 59,5 mm, with accuration up to 0,05 %. Calculation yield is plotted using Mathematica software. At electrode distance of 34 mm and 42,5 mm show the existence of inward radial field around axial axe, which qualitatively push the electron beam to stay in the acceleration tube, but at electrode distance of 51 mm and 59,5 mm, the radial field direction is not inward direction, so in this distance there is almost no beam focusing anymore. If the electrode distance is farther. the radial field will go outward away, so the pushing force to fix the beam line on the acceleration tube decreaces. On the acceleration of 500 kV, the electron trajectory calculation has been carried out relativisticly along the tube axes which yield electron that still be on the acceleration tube if the beginning direction tangent is between 0.09 and -0,09. The energy has been obtained at the end of acceleration tube is between 493 keY and keY, and the electron velocity is 2,6.108mIsec
