Description
The invention is an apparatus for X-ray photography to be used in computerized axial tomography which has a source designed to transmit a fan-shaped X-ray beam through a disc-shaped section of the body to be researched. The source revolves around an axis which intersects the disc in order to send the radiation in a variety of directions through the body. The invention solves the problem of ringshaped mock effects being superimposed on the to be evaluated absorption coefficients
