Description
UVSOR has been successfully converted to UVSOR-II, which has a small emittance of 27 nm-rad and six straight sections for undulators. The reconstruction of the accelerators was completed in three months, from April to June 2003. The commissioning was started in July. On 14th July, the electron beam was successfully stored. Until the end of July, the maximum beam current reached 500 mA. In September, the operation for users has started. (author)
