Variable temperature NMR probes

  • 1. Sao Paulo Univ., Sao Carlos, SP (Brazil). Inst. de Fisica e Quimica

Description

Two variable temperature NMR probes are described which are suitable for operation at high (up to 1000 K) and nitrogen vapor temperatures. A single coil scheme is utilized which fits into the gap of a magnet. Particular attention is paid to practical problems involved in the design and construction of an NMR probe. Matching network and tuning procedure are presented. (author)
