Rate constants for the reactions of oxidizing radicals such as O-, N3 and Br2- with 2-pyridinol have been determined using the pulse radiolysis technique. Absorption maxima, extinction coefficients and decay rate constants of the product transient species are reported and discussed. (author). 1 tab
