Studies on the dissolution of thoria in nitric acid
Creators
- 1. Fuel Chemistry Division, Indira Gandhi Centre for Atomic Research, Kalpakkam (India)
Description
The kinetics of dissolution of thoria prepared by combustion synthesis by microwave heating and hot plate technique as well as conventional oxalate precipitation, were studied in nitric acid solutions without the addition of HF, and the results are compared with the kinetics of dissolution of thoria prepared by conventional oxalate route
