Plans for dismantlement and isolation of two damaged nuclear submarines in the Far-East of Russia. • Description of technical conditions of submarines and problems with damaged reactors. • Dose rates review at different parts of submarines. • Plans for partial dismantlement of submarines and isolation of reactor units with fuel onboard in specific shelters. • Creation of special pontoons for relocation of reactor units to the shelters. • Cost estimates provided.
